Tee Time In Santee: 5 Essential Golf Courses Near Lake Marion

Nestled in the heart of South Carolina’s scenic Lowcountry shines a year-round paradise for golfers of all skill levels. Santee-Cooper Country is a laid-back region with an inviting atmosphere. Though surrounded by charming locales and small-town southern charm, this cozy region is also within a short distance from South Carolina’s shore and major cities, like Charleston and Columbia. However, this region's rich history and selection of courses are enough in and of themselves for visitors to enjoy.

Santee National Golf Club

This 18-hole, four-star Golf Digest course was developed by Porter Gibson and features diverse course elements to keep golfers engaged, including mossy oaks, rolling hills and its unique five lakes, which act as water hazards for the par-72 course.
